Privacy

The short version: no analytics, no advertising, and no stored IP addresses.

Passing Notes

The current public question and answer are stored in the site’s database. Posting always publishes an approximate country. You can choose whether to include the approximate city inferred at the network edge. A new question permanently replaces the previous exchange.

Packet Run

Only scores that enter the monthly or all-time board can be saved. A saved row contains the call sign, score, delivered-packet count, ruleset, time, approximate country, and—only when selected—approximate city. Leaderboard records may be retained indefinitely.

Presence and local settings

Passing Notes presence is held temporarily by a hibernating Durable Object and is not written to D1. The game stores the sound preference in your browser’s local storage.

Infrastructure

The hosting infrastructure necessarily processes request metadata to deliver and protect the site. This application does not persist IP addresses, use behavioral analytics, sell data, or create advertising profiles.

Removal

For removal of a leaderboard entry or other public data, contact the site owner through the repository channel associated with iamateapot.com.
